Louise has headlined with her performance poetry and comedy monologues at top spoken-word venues – Express Excess, Seahaven Poets, Spoaken Word, The Fun & Laughter Mob, Sunday Assembly, The Poetry Café London and Eastbourne, The Poetry Police, Red Rooster, Oliver’s Poetry, Club 99; and at Chichester Fringe, Brighton Fringe, Hove Grown, Edinburgh Fringe, Henley Arts Festival, London’s Comedy and Literary Festival, Seaford Literary Festival, Hailsham Arts Festival ; compered for Redwood Housing Cooperative’s Celebration on the South Bank. She is the founder and artistic director of The Poet’s Kitchen.

Iona Jette is Louise’s Scottish poetic alter ego and together they have performed on BBC London’s Word for Word, Talkback Radio, GLR, Brighton Community Radio and London Network Radio.

They have been found at parties, weddings, groups, health spas, on Zoom – Mairie Campbell’s Ceilidh,  Pick n Mix Cabaret.

Louise has created and led performance poetry, stand up comedy, performance techniques and creative writing workshops for children, young people and adults.  She has run her own writing group Word Spinners.

As a Business Poet, Louise can attend your event or conference and compose a poem to illustrate and celebrate it that provides a memorable gift for attendees. She uses the transformative power of poetry in her signature workshop Switch Off to Switch On! for teams and business groups, as well as a coaching resource in her individual  programmes with The Golden Wheel.
